The Aaron Wall Light was designed and created by Kanaän Design Studio’s husband and wife duo in celebration of Aaron, their firstborn son. Aaron was born just shy of 23 weeks due to a late miscarriage - A crushing reality the couple soon came to realize many others have endured together with their families or in private.

This sparked the idea to design and create a product not only in honour of Aaron but also in recognition of all the other precious lives lost and their brave moms and dads. The meaning of Aaron’s name - mountain of strength; to be or become light - greatly inspired the shape and the structure of the wall light.

Each wall light is proudly manufactured and assembled in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and is ultimately an illuminated tribute to all the tiny souls and the courageous hearts.

The wall light is designed to be surface-mounted with the cable exiting an opening in the back plate to to be surface-mounted with the cable exiting an opening in the back plate to sides between - depending on the orientation of the light - by drilling an additional hole where preferred and fitting a grommet for the cable exit.
